Grouwels Vastgoed acquires the ‘Bruno’ residential portfolio from Achmea Real Estate
Grouwels Vastgoed has acquired the ‘Bruno’ residential portfolio from Achmea Real Estate. The portfolio comprises several residential complexes in easily accessible locations, offering a mix of flats and terraced houses. The properties are situated in residential areas with stable demand for rental homes and a solid occupancy rate. With this acquisition, Grouwels Vastgoed strengthens its position as a long-term investor in the Dutch housing market.
Long-term investment in Dutch housing
For Grouwels Vastgoed, this purchase fits within its strategy of investing family capital sustainably and across generations in high-quality housing. The portfolio aligns with the focus on stable residential areas, future-proof buildings and long-term value creation.
Richard Dohmen, Managing Director of Grouwels Vastgoed: “With this acquisition, we are taking another step towards strengthening our residential portfolio. We invest with a long-term vision and deliberately choose locations and developments that add sustainable value. At the same time, we offer institutional investors such as Achmea Real Estate the opportunity to optimise their portfolio and free up capital for new investments.”
Portfolio optimisation
For Achmea Real Estate, the sale fits within its strategy to restructure the portfolio in a targeted manner. Selective divestment creates scope to invest in new projects, sustainability measures and further optimisation of the existing portfolio.
