We are proud to announce that Grouwels Vastgoed has officially become a member of IVBN, the Association of Institutional Property Investors in the Netherlands.

IVBN represents professional and institutional property investors in the Netherlands and is committed to fostering a transparent, sustainable and healthy investment climate. The association plays a key role in knowledge sharing, research, advocacy and the further professionalisation of our sector.

A logical step based on a long-term vision

For Grouwels Vastgoed, this move is both a logical and significant step. As a family-run business based in Maastricht, we have been investing our family capital in residential property for over 50 years, guided by a long-term vision. With a portfolio of around 7,000 rental properties in the Netherlands and Germany, our focus is on sustainable, intergenerational investments, with a particular emphasis on the growth centres of the Netherlands.

Actively contributing to a future-proof housing market

Guided by this vision, we play an active role in the market on a daily basis: not only by investing sustainably in Dutch housing, but also by offering institutional investors the liquidity and flexibility to optimise their portfolios and create scope for new-build developments. It is precisely this interaction between professional parties that contributes to a healthy and future-proof housing market.

Working together to tackle current challenges

Richard Dohmen, Managing Director of Grouwels Vastgoed

‘With our diverse property portfolio, we deal on a daily basis with current issues relating to good letting practices, housing construction, sustainability and quality of life. Membership of the IVBN provides us with a valuable platform to exchange experiences and, together with other investors, contribute to a professional and future-proof property market in the Netherlands.’

Membership gives us access to valuable market insights, research, knowledge platforms and networking events. Together with fellow investors, including Daelmans Vastgoed, we are keen to actively contribute to the dialogue on the future of the Dutch housing market.
We are proud of this step and look forward to collaborating within IVBN.
